Our vision is a world where PK-12 teachers intentionally develop the leadership potential of their students.
THE GARDNER CARNEY LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (gcLi) stands firmly upon the belief that teachers can make students better citizens through leadership. We believe that students encounter opportunities to lead every day and teachers can help students recognize and succeed in these teachable moments.
The gcLi believes that leadership is a practice and habit of mind that can be taught at any age. It is a discipline that can and must be studied, articulated, and learned.
